Many worlds...Creative
Edges
My
career as an Artist has spanned many worlds and creative edges. This is
reflected in the evolution of my work as Painter, Multimedia Artist, Web
Designer, Program Developer, and Writer.
Perception
begins where there is interest...
I believe we perceive that in which we are interested. I am interested
in the world around us. How we arrived. Where we are heading. What are
the archetypes of this world. Why are we producing these particular archetypes.
I used my training as a traditional artist to step out into the Future.
After 12 years as a Painter on the East Coast, I moved to the West Coast
to study Computer Art, Animation, Holography, Neon, and the Internet.
Along the way, I created the 'Telejectron', a multimedia relaxation chamber
and produced TRUE DOODLES, a community art program that helps people release
their creative potential. TRUE DOODLES won regional and national awards.
I like to create in many mediums. These include painting, sculpture, illustration,
multimedia, writing, design, architecture, dance, and cartooning. My cartoon
book FORTUNE KOOKIES is available online through Amazon.com. It can also
be purchased at Barnes & Noble and most book stores in the United States.
My latest cartoon strip, OVER 80, is whacky and weird. My art has been
exhibited in Boston, San Diego, Philadelphia, and New York.
I am currently working on 'Life is A 3 Ring Circus'. These paintings and
sculptures represent a visual over-view of world challenges.
